Important Events Related to SSC Stenographer Exam Date 2024
The recruitment body will hold a few events prior to the announcement of the SSC Stenographer Exam Date 2024. The following are the key dates for the SSC Stenographer 2024 recruitment process.
Filling Out the Application Form: The official website offers the SSC Stenographer application form for online access. Candidates who are interested should fill out the form by the deadline. For General and OBC candidates, the application cost is INR 100; however, those who are SC, ST, women, or ESM are not required to pay this amount.
admission Card Release: Two weeks before to the exam, the SSC Stenographer admission card is sent out. After providing the required information, registered candidates can download it from the sub-regional websites of the commission. The admission card is available online only; it is not mailed to candidates.
SSC Stenographer Exam: There are three portions to the computer-based SSC Stenographer test: English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. There are 200 objective-style questions in the test, and each question is worth one mark, for a possible 200 points. Test takers have two hours to finish the exam, and every wrong response costs them 0.25 points.
To calculate the merit list and cutoff scores, marks are normalized. Candidates are shortlisted for the required but qualifying Skill Test based on the results of the computer-based test. The candidates’ performance in the computer-based test and the post preferences they stated during document verification will determine their final selection and assignment to Ministries/Departments.
