SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2024: Before beginning the online application process for SSC MTS 2024, candidates must make sure they meet the minimal eligibility conditions. The qualifications vary depending on the role for which candidates are chosen using the SSC MTS 2024 Exam. SSC MTS Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate must be from one of the below-listed categories:
- A citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee
- Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c) and (d) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
SSC MTS Educational Qualification
This is a crucial set of criteria to make sure the chosen candidates can carry out their responsibilities effectively. Candidates must have at least finished their class 10th from an accredited board in order to be eligible for the SSC MTS. Additional information on the SSC MTS Qualification is provided below:
- Candidate must have passed matriculation examination OR equivalent from a recognized board or institute.
- In the case of the distance learning programme, the degree should be approved by the Distance Education Bureau, and University Grants Commission then only they will be allowed to appear for SSC MTS Exam.
SSC MTS Age Limit
Applicants must be at least eighteen (19) years old, not older than twenty-five (25) years old for MTS posts and 27 years old for Havaldar posts, meaning they must have been born before August 2, 1996, but no later than August 1, 2005, to be eligible for the SSC MTS Havaldar positions in CBIC and CBN. Apart from the mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.

SSC MTS Eligibility 2024: Points to Remember
- Educational certificates will be required for submission at the document verification stage and even the application stage to verify particular details.
- Proof of age is mandatory to be provided by each candidate at the time of application, it can be a birth certificate or an educational certificate.
