- The Qualifying standard for PAPER-1 GENERAL STUDIES (MCQ) shall be a minimum of 40% marks in PART-A and PART-B separately.

There will be 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in Parts A and B of this exam for candidates to answer. There are 200 possible points for these questions. Applicants will have three hours, or 180 minutes, in total, to finish answering all of the questions in Parts A and B.
Paper A
Exam applicants will face 80 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in Part A. Each MCQ is worth one mark. The sum of the Part A marks is 80. A minimum score of 40% is required for candidates to be eligible for this portion of the test. There will be a 0.25 mark deduction for each wrong response. Additionally, if a candidate is unsure about the answer to a question, they can select the “E” option.
