IBPS RRB 2024 Selection Process
There are two phases to the IBPS RRB Selection Process: Prelims and Mains. However, there are three stages to the IBPS PO, or Officer Scale I exam: preliminary, main, and interview. There is a single-window exam called the IBPS Officer Grade II Exam, which is followed by an interview, for the IBPS Officer Grade II (General Banking Officer and Specialist Cadre) and III. Candidates must pass each level of the corresponding exams in order to be considered for any of these positions.
IBPS RRB 2024 Exam Pattern
As you know the IBPS RRB recruits candidates for two posts, i.e. Office Assistant/Clerk and Officer Scale. Therefore, the exam process is different for each of the exams.
IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam Pattern
The IBPS RRB Assistant 2024, Exam will be conducted in two phases:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates for the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination.
There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate. The test will be objective in nature.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has made significant changes to the IBPS RRB Exam Pattern (IBPS). This marks a significant change as the authorities have implemented sectional timing for every component in the Clerk (Office Assistant) and Probationary Officer (Officer Scale I) preliminary and main tests.With this modification, the assessment procedure should run more smoothly and offer a more impartial appraisal of candidates’ abilities.

IBPS RRB 2024 Cut Off

IBPS RRB Result 2024
IBPS will release the results for both Assistant and Officer Grade positions following the administration of tests for each step. To be eligible for the Mains Exam, candidates must first pass the preliminary round. Upon completion of the recruiting process, candidates will receive a call letter offering them a position inside the firm if they secure a spot on the final merit list.
