AFCAT
Air Force Common Admission Test or AFCAT is a national level exam conducted by Indian Air Force. AFCAT is being conducted for recruitment of candidates in Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches.
CDS
The full form of CDS is Combined Defence Services. CDS exam is conducted twice every year and those who qualify undergo the SSB interview. The Exam is conducted to get into Indian Army, Indian Navy & Indian Air Force. UPSC organizes written examinations and interviews for CDS recruitment after which the successful candidates are sent to the Indian Military Academy (Dehradun), Indian Naval Academy (Goa), Air Force Academy (Hyderabad) and Officer Training Academy (Chennai). NDA
