HPSC PGT Eligibility Criteria 2024: The following criteria are part of the HPSC PGT Eligibility Criteria for 2024: candidates need to have a Master’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% of marks from an accredited university. They should also hold a B.Ed. or an equivalent degree. Although there are some areas where there are age relaxations, age limitations normally range from 18 to 42. HPSC PGT Eligibility Criteria 2024

HPSC PGT Eligibility Criteria 2024: Additionally, HPSC has modified the HPSC PGT Eligibility Criteria. The item below has a complete notification about the HPSC PGT Post attached. 613 positions have been made available for the Mewat Cadre and 3863 positions have been made available for the Haryana PGT (the Rest of Haryana Cadre). According to pay-matrix level 8, selected candidates will receive a salary range of Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100.

HPSC PGT Eligibility Criteria Subject Wise

HPSC PGT Essential Qualifications:

HPSC PGT Commerce

(i)M.Com. with accounting/Cost accounting/ Financial accounting as a major subject of study with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed from recognized university. Holders of degree of M.Com. in Applied/ Business Economics shall not be eligible;
(ii)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
(iii)Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
(iv)Consistent good academic record.

HPSC PGT Computer Science:-

(i)(M.Sc. Computer Science (Regular two year course)/MCA (Regular three year course)/BE/B.Tech. Computer Science/Computer Engg. /IT (Regular course) with 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university;
(ii)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
(iii)Certificate of having qualified Haryana teachers Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
(iv)Consistent good academic record

HPSC PGT Fine Arts:-

(i)M.A. Fine Arts with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed from recognised university;
(ii)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
(iii)Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
(iv)Consistent good academic record.

HPSC PGT History:-

(i)M.A. History with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed from recognised university; And
(ii)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject; and
(iii)Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
(iv)Consistent good academic record.

HPSC PGT Mathematics:-

(i)M.A./M.Sc. Mathematics/Applied Mathematics with Mathematics as one of the subject at Graduation level with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed from recognised university;
(ii)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
(iii)Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
(iv)Consistent good academic record.

HPSC PGT Music:-

(i)M.A. Music with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed from recognised university;
(ii)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
(iii)Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
(iv)Consistent good academic record.

HPSC PGT Physical Education:-

(i)M.A. Physical Education or M.P.Ed. with atleast 50% marks and Bachelors of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed.) or its equivalent from recognised university;
(ii)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
(iii)Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
(iv)Consistent good academic record.

HPSC PGT Political Science :-

(i)M.A. Political Science or Public Administration with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university;” and.
(ii)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject And;
(iii)Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
(iv)Consistent good academic record.

HPSC PGT Physics :-

(i)M.Sc. Physics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics/Electronics Science/Electronics with at least 50% marks and B.ED. from a recognized university and
(ii)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject; And;
(iii)Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
(iv)Consistent good academic record.

HPSC PGT Eligibility Criteria – Age Limit

Applications for HPSC PGT posts must be submitted by applicants who are at least 18 years old and no older than 42. Teachers who work in government schools, recognized schools, and privately run government-aided schools are eligible for age relaxation. For a maximum of five years, they may be granted an upper age limit extension commensurate with the duration of their teaching career.
