For Post-Graduate students:

Probation Period of Navy SSC Officer

The probationary period is two years for officers of other branches/cadres and three years for SSC (NAIC) officers. The probationary period will begin on the date the rank of Sub Lieutenant is granted and end after two years for other branches/cadres and three years for SSC(NAIC), or upon completion of the first training, whichever comes first. Officers on probation are subject to termination at any point for performing below standards.
