PSTET Exam Pattern 2024

There are two papers on the PSTET exam: Paper I and Paper II. Applicants interested in being considered for primary teaching positions should fill out Paper I. Candidates who want to be considered for the Upper Primary teaching positions in the relevant subjects, such as social studies, mathematics, science, art & craft, physical education, home science, music, Urdu, Sanskrit, or any other subject taught by a teacher who wants to apply for Paper-II. PSTET Exam Pattern For Paper 1

Each of the 150 multiple-choice questions in the PSTET Paper 1 exam pattern is worth one mark, for a total of 150 marks. There are thirty marks each for Child Development and Pedagogy, thirty marks for Environmental Studies, thirty points for Mathematics, thirty marks for Language I, and thirty marks for Language II. Examinees get 150 minutes, or 2.5 hours, to complete the test.

PSTET Exam Pattern For Paper 2

The 150 multiple-choice questions of the PSTET Paper 2 Exam Pattern for Upper Primary Teachers (Classes VI to VIII) are worth one mark apiece, and the exam lasts for two hours and fifty minutes. The exam consists of four sections: Language 1 (required, 30 marks), Language 2 (30 marks), Child Development and Pedagogy (30 points required), and two subject-specific subjects the candidate selects (30 marks each).
