RRB Group D Selection Process
In order to pass the Group D exam, candidates must be familiar of the four stages of the RRB Group D Selection Process 2024. The steps of the RRB Group D recruitment campaign are listed here.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification, and Medical Test
RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2024
There are two stages to the RRB Group D Exam: the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Computer-based Test (CBT). On the basis of merit, the applicants who pass the PET and CBT exams are invited to the document verification round.
Important Points:
- For each incorrect response, one-third of a mark will be subtracted. Negative marking will apply.
- For correct responses, each applicant will receive one mark.
- There will be multiple-choice, objective-type questions.
- Minimum percentage of marks required to be eligible for different categories:
- UR – 40%
- EWS – 40%
- OBC (Non-crNoncreamy) – 30%
- SC – 30%
- ST – 30%
In the event that there are fewer PwBD candidates than available slots, the percentage of eligibility marks may be lowered for them by 2%.

RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Tests (PET)
Candidates will be contacted for PET based on their performance in the CBT. Three times the regular community-based post vacancy notices against RRBs/RRCs. It is required to pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and passing it will also qualify you. The following is the PET criteria:
