SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2024
Tier-1 and Tier-2 of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examinations are administered by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). While Tier-1 of the SSC CHSL is administered online, Tier-2 is also administered online. Applicants interested in learning more about the various SSC CHSL tiers can read this post. SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2024
The SSC CHSL Ties 1 exam has 100 questions overall and a 200 maximum score, per the SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2024. Tier 1 of SSC CHSL lasts for 60 minutes. There are four parts in SSC CHSL Tier I, each having 25 questions and a possible score of 50. SSC will handle normalization if the exam is administered over several shifts.

SSC CHSL Tier-2 Exam Pattern 2024 (Revised)

- The questions will be of Objective type in nature in English, Hindi, and any language opted by the candidates.
SSC CHSL Negative Marking
In the CHSL Exam, there is a negative grading in both tiers. Each incorrect response in Tier 1 deducts 0.50 marks, while in Tier 2, each incorrect answer in Section 1, Section-2, and Module I of Section 3 deducts one mark. As a result, applicants need to exercise caution when choosing any exam option.

SSC CHSL 2024 Resolution of Tie Cases
If there is a tie between the candidates who took the Tier-I and Tier-II exams, merit will be determined by using each of the subsequent criteria sequentially until the tie is broken:
- Total marks of the Tier-II Examination.
- Total marks in Tier-I Examination.
- Date of birth, with the elder candidates, placed higher.
- Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.
